General Information on tutoring
At Studyworks, we believe that all students have the potential to do well in their studies given the right teaching methods and environment with which to exercise their creative minds. That's why we set up tutoring programs for students in the international schools in Singapore.

And, unlike other tutorial centers (or more commonly known as "tuition centers") that claim to be able to teach all subjects, we specialize only in certain subjects. Our speciality is in teaching English, English Literature, and Mathematics.

International school students come to us for help in English (RLA), English Literature, Math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 / 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, and more), AP subjects such as AP Language, AP Literature, AP Calculus. In addition, we also train students on essay writing, grammar as well as vocabulary building. To date, we have tutored numerous students from the Singapore American School (SAS), United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA), the Canadian International School, International Community School, the Australian International School, as well as the Japanese High School.

We do our best to nurture the young minds of these students so they can think independently and become more confident in their school work as well as in life. Besides small group classes, our one-on-one lessons are particularly good for students who may need an extra push, or motivation and/or are unable to fit into our regularly scheduled classes. However, time slots for one-on-one lessons are very limited and generally, we do not encourage that. Students in our group sessions get to enjoy group work, group discussions as well as interactions with students from other schools. These are all positive traits for a healthy learning environment.
